938collective invites you to their unique film festival!

On Tuesday, October 15, at Cobble Hill Cinemas in Brooklyn, celebrate the work their collaborating artists have prepared for your viewing pleasure.

“Last fall, we had the pleasure of inviting filmmakers in our community to showcase their published projects with an intimate audience at our studio in Gowanus. This year, we upped the ante and invited filmmakers alike to submit with us to create – from start to finish – an original short film to be showcased at Cobble Hill Cinemas in Brooklyn, NY.

938collective’s mission to collaborate and create across mediums sets our festivals apart. UNDERSCORE started by collaborating with musicians to devise and orchestrate an original score to be included in their teams’ final cuts. Over the course of six weeks, screenwriters wrote an original 10-15 minute script inspired by the developed composition, at which point teams met and began to work together to film and edit the script.
