About:

Hi, I’m Soph!

Growing up, I drew most of my inspiration from two sources: Animated movies and TV, and my mom.

My mom is a classically trained artist and was a studio artist as I was growing up. I often helped her in her studio and went to many, many gallery shows and museum exhibitions. I fell in love with the work of the old masters, but I also had a deep love for cartoons and started drawing by learning from my favorite shows.

Once I started tattooing, I thought I would specialize in an illustrative style featuring bold lines, bright colors, and cartoony subjects. Although I do love drawing and tattooing in that style, as I gained more experience on skin, I found myself loving fineline and focusing in on precision and detail, and ultimately I couldn’t help myself from dipping my toes into the micro-classical genre.

No matter the subject matter or style, consistency is key and I strive for nothing less than perfection.

Clean lines, delicate shading, and organic placement are staples in my artistic arsenal.

I always consider tattooing to be a collaborative effort, and one of my favorite aspects of the job is bringing my client’s ideas into fruition, and designing pieces that exceed expectations. Whatever you may want, I’m here to deliver it as perfectly and painlessly as possible.”
