About:

"I am a poet,
who speaks through stone,
sculpting,
a tranquil moment,
apart,
from life’s needs and noise.
The form, a pursuit…

For nearly thirty years, I have explored the female figure as a point of departure, abstracting it into fluid, intimate forms. My process, especially of late, is direct carving, allowing the stone to shape the outcome as much as my own intention. In this, I feel aligned with Brancusi and, at times, Henry Moore, whose work honors both material and essence. Alongside them, I carry the quieter influence of Georgia O’Keeffe – her sense of intimacy and framing continues to inform how I see and shape my work.

Each sculpture is a search for something essential – timeless yet immediate, grounded yet transcendent."
