Founder Hillary Libby is a long time yoga practitioner and teacher, Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, and herbalist based in Brooklyn, NY. It was the study of yoga that first set her on this path to studying nutrition, herbs and all things holistic health. A long time lover of nature and a forever student of these traditions, she has always found healing and inspiration through plants, trees, earth, water and stones.
She founded Wildflower Tea Shop & Apothecary in 2016, first as a magical little brick and mortar shop where she lived in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with a simple intention-to help people feel better. The physical space was one avenue towards that, the energy of holding space for people another and the vehicle was the tea blends themselves.
After moving away in 2020, the chapter of the Tennessee shop finally came to a close at the end of 2023. These days, she blends and packages teas by hand in her Brooklyn studio, sending them off to nourish people wherever they might be, but with the very same intention.
