Saturday (July 30th), beginning at 1PM, explore the culinary talent of the neighborhood, at Tastes of Gowanus.
How it works: You buy a ticket and get a map and menu of all the places taking part, then choose from a selection of restaurants, bars, bakers and pick which ones you want to try. There’s food from all over the world – Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Latin America, U.S., Africa and more.
Kids can help out making fresh OJ and lemonade at Hip2B Healthy Cafe at the Gowanus Dredgers Boathouse.
